In TypingTower, your goal is to type the falling blocks away before they reach a certain height. Let them stack and you will lose.

Speed is key.

This is the Classic version, for the LITE version, visit TypingTower LITE

Version: 0.0.0.9

New Features:

  • Main menu (not yet finished but functional for showcase/play button)
  • PlayerPrefs saving settings

New Bug Fixes:

  • The return key now doesn't deselect the input field. As a byproduct of how it's been fixed, the return key counts as a mistake just like backspace, but allows you to reset the input field.
  • Some UI scaling issues have been addressed.
  • UI color mistake corrected.

Known High Priority Bugs:

  • The countdown system can be somewhat bypassed and bugged out by typing words and having new ones colliding with the barrier. This is gamebreaking and should be addressed asap.
  • Mobile keyboard doesn't feature a spacebar because I am an idiot
  • After exiting back to main menu, the references to UI elements are not set and therefore unuseable
  • Grading system can still mess up (happened with an S grade that was shown as an A)
  • Physics can cause words to be facing away from the player and unreadable
  • Grading system is currently inaccurate

Future Features:

  • Complete scenes like the main menu and level select
  • Separate LITE version of the game on the link above, featuring a wordle-like Daily Run mode
  • Leaderboards
  • Displaying the word that defeated the player as well as a fun fact about it or something similar
  • Saving/loading of player data for the sake of unlocks and stats
  • BIG MAYBE: A way for players to upload their own lists of words
